  • In 2017, Will spent the month of November living and working on Fogo Island, Newfoundland, as part of a creative residency through Fogo Island Arts, an arm of the Shorefast Foundation. Through painting, sculpture, and photography, he created a new body of work that looks at place, necessity, and inventiveness, among other things, in an effort to talk about renewal and cycles of change there and elsewhere. This work will be the subject of an upcoming solo exhibition at the Christina Parker Gallery, in St. John's, Newfoundland, in July 2019. Here's a sneak peek at some of his new pieces being featured in the show called From the Lion's Den.

  • Will's "The Green Chair", conceived, constructed and installed in the ocean, as part of the 2017 Bonavista Biennale, met its demise in March 2018. Read Jonathan Parsons' account of The life and death of the resilient ‘Green Chair’ in Maberly to learn more.
